Wait... your computer does 10 bigadv units A DAY?!

That doesn't sound right...

You can use this point calculator to estimate the total PPD (base + bonus) you'll earn on a WU. You suggested that you're able to complete a WU in just under three days - lets suppose that means you're completing a frame every 40min. According to the linked point calculator, that would give you a completion time of 2.78 days, earning a total of just shy of 53k points, or ~19k PPD.

so is everytime I do a -bigadv it only does one WU? Something isn't working right if others are getting tons of points and im not. Will I get my bonus points after finishing 10 bigadv units even if it takes weeks?

I just finished a WU that was 25k points and took 65 hours to complete... Do I have to continue to fold with a passkey and once I get 10 WUs with it I'll get my bonus points I was supposed to get? if not then I am completely better off at regular folding which was getting me 11k a day and my ppd was higher along with my WU count

Bonuses are only given *if* a client has a passkey and *after* a client has completed 10 Core A2 work units. Also, to qualify for a bonus, a client must have returned >80% of its work units within the deadline. Otherwise bonus factor = 1.

You should run smp without -bigadv to get the 10 completed A2 WU first, then switch to -bigadv.

Based on your 65 hour time, you should get about 19K ppd on bigadv work after you qualify for the bonus.

The passkey qualification plan is the same for bigadv and for the new A3 core. See the explanation here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=13160

ohhh ok makes sense now.. I have way over 10 WUs but not with a passkey. cant wait to see the points return will be sweet. Thanks for the link I just read it and now makes sense.
